Most things start with a conversation.
If you've built a community-management company and you're thinking about the next chapter — we'd be glad to talk. No pitch deck. No process. A first conversation, in confidence.
Fill out the form and we'll be in touch within one business day, usually sooner.
Madison Avenue, NYC.
Our office is a few blocks from Madison Square Park. We meet founders here, but most of the work happens in the field — we travel to you. If you'd like to come by, we'd be glad to make time.
A few things people usually ask first.
Do I need to have a deal in mind to reach out?
No. Most first conversations are a coffee or a phone call. We talk with founders for years before anything formal happens — that's normal, and welcome.
Will my employees know we're talking?
Not from us. The first stretch of any conversation is held only between principals. Information moves only when you're ready for it to.
What size of company fits?
Roughly 800 to 30,000 doors under management — though we look at fit before size. Smaller companies with the right team are interesting too.
Do you replace the founder?
No. We expect the founder to stay involved on a timeline they choose. The leadership team typically rolls equity and remains in their seats.
How long does the process take?
From first conversation to close is usually four to nine months — but the first three months are mostly listening. There's no clock from us.
Do you change the company name?
Almost never. The local brand stays. The platform sits underneath, where boards don't see it.
